Street Scenes Around Old Sintra

A living statue was entertaining us tourists.
And frightening some.
Black swallows are a thing In Portugal.
The beautifully cobble stoned side walks can be slippery. The stone must be very hard and is polished from so many years of wear.
Lots of cool shops to explore.
The floor in this shop is made with old broken tiles.
And it had this huge doll house.

Good food is down every alley.

Our first view of the Castelo dos Mouros on the hill above Sintra. The Castle of the Moors was built by the Moors in the 8th and 9th centuries. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Here is a unique door knob.
Had our first Portuguese dining experience at Tulhas. A short walk from Cinco.
We sat by the cork wishing well. Make a wish and toss the cork from your wine bottle into the well.
